Well my new m9000 has arrived. I ordered it last Oct and said to my dealer I would like it toward the end of March. Feb came and he called me that the m9000 would not arrive untill the end of June so he got one from a dealer down south. First impressions are nice machine, alot of power. Not as user frendly as the L48 from the ability to creep and change direction but much better when work long stretches in the field.I will try to get some lower resolutions pictures to post.

Congratulations Carl

I’m sure you will be happy with the performance of this tractor. When I got my M9000 a couple of years ago there really weren’t any other M9000 owners on TBN. Most the folks with utility tractors had NH TN’s. Now that’s changing. There has been lots of discussions about the M9000 lately. That’s great for us.

I was curious what kinds of jobs and attachments you were going to be using with this tractor? I use mine for cleaning my poultry barns with my barn cleaning machine, flail mower, tiller, and leveler that I use for leveling out the litter in my chicken barns. This weekend I was pulling my leveler blade in 3rd gear high range. I pulled so much the tractor stopped and all four wheels were still spinning in the soft litter. That’s power.

Eric

I will be using the M9000 for general work on the farm.I will be Cutting hay this year and will start clearing 20 more acres. I will be planting 2000 blueberry plants this year and have alot of ground prep.I have a Patu 175 wood chipper that will be on M9000 it will be much better then on the L48.the M9000 has quick hitch from Ati with a 84" bucket I can use all of the attachment from my Cat257 on the M9000. I have front remote hyd., puts out about 19.3 gallons on the M9000.

But there was a Kubota M8950 owner!

Carl, I hope you enjoy your new tractor.

Your right. How could I forget about Gatorboy and your mowers?

Carl
Thats great you got the ATI attachment plate. Did your dealer build your loader with the quick attach or did you have to add a this quick attach to the kubota quick attach? Was it much extra?

If you have a digital camera I would like to check out this set up.

When I ordered it, I ordered it with the Quick attach. However Kubota does not offer it yet even though their price guide said it is available. I think My dealer said you can get it from Kubota but cannot get 84 inch. bucket, it is available with 79 inch bucket which is a little shy of the tread width. So he charged me the same price as if it came with the kubota set up and 79 inch. bucket. I will try to take some low resolution photos tonight if it isn't raining. The nice part is the front Hyd. it has a switch on the loader lever that allows you to engage the hyd. I am going to have one installed on my L48 soon.

control for front remote is a switch on top of handle. The black plastic piece slips over the loader control stick makes for a nice setup.
