Got to love having the repair manual in English for the YM2500 & YM2610 3T80.

Hi, so my pump does not have those witnesses marks at the end but it does have one next to the post and a line down the middle that i can't get to meet the mark. Here are some photos.

Are those the flyweights to the Thrust Sleeve?

No it's the top of the pump. I took the pump out to get a better look and the mark i thought was something turned out to be a speck if dirt. Attached are photos of the pump take out. You can see the shaft has two marks on the rod but i can't make out any other marks to base off of.

OK, now I can relate. ;)

Did your assembly have a washer and cotter pin like the JD850 then?

Is (K) Governor Link bent? Why can't it reach?

I'll see if I can get my cover off the governor on the 3T80 and snap a few pixs.

I jumped over to the fuel pump in our Japan Parts Manuals. That pin sits on a rod from the looks of it.

so the part K does not appear to be bent. Is there a different mark on the one for the Japanese side that is to base where the rod should be in relation to the body for governor K link? I think once I figure out where it needs to be it will be easy to get the rest of the parts moving so to speak.

I'll have to snap the pix tomorrow. :) To dark outside now.

Oh, and the YM2500 manual looks the same as the JD manual.

:) so the cover that you would have to remove is the one above the fuel pump connected to the crank case vent. I am trying to find more info on this pump as well but no dice.
