Ok you folks not that I don't admire your snow weapons I have had enough snow I am ready for the Spring time weapons....

Ventrac had no problems with 20 & 24" snow last winter. 9 drives (each close to 1/4 mile) and 1/2 mile to main road.
Unless plowing unfrozen gravel or stone areas, then a rigid link is a disaster. Given a proper angle of attack, a floating moldboard doesn't often ride up on snow unless it is traffic-packed first.
Those Ventracs are awesome machines !Do you have any videos of that machine working ?
Ventrac inspired my homemade rig and I am actually using the identical set of axles that is on there 3000. It shocked me how well it plowed 13" of snow at one time on turf tires with no weights or chains.
Here's what I've been living in for the past 4 days plowing snow (evenings anyway):
