Ratchet Rake OR Piranha Tooth Bar?

The Kubota L3560 is here. I purchased another Ratchet Rake. Decided I needed the short row of vertical teeth, pointing down on the bottom of the Ratchet Rake, for piling brush after tearing it out.

The L3560 has heavy LA805 FEL and optional L2296 (SSQA) HD Bucket. The Ratchet Rake fit on the L2296 Heavy Duty Round Back Bucket smoothly. I learned from my prior 52" Ratchet Rake, used on a 2,000 pound lighter Kubota B3300SU Tractor/Loader, that the two clevis , which attach through the bottom 'eye' on the RR and provide connection points for the steel cables, will come loose because the pins unscrew. So I found and used bolted and cotter pin secured "safety" clevis, which I bought on eBay. I have never seen "safety" clevis in hardware stores; they may be a marine specialty fitting.

The 68", 88 pound Ratchet Rake, on the 72", 397 pound L2296 HD bucket, attached to LA805 FEL, powered by a L3560, is a powerful combination.

You can also substitute the correct size hardened bolt for the shackle pin, amd use a lock nut on the side where your cotter pin is on the safety shackle.

We had a similar issue with shackle often becoming unscrewed on the winch-attachment point of our snow plow, and that wss my eventual solution.

Guess I'd go with your Kubota Manual over Tractor Data seeing Kubota doesn't do the Nebraska Tractor test.

Great looking tractor Jeff! Now you need a set of QA pallet forks! Makes moving those giant brush a breeze! My favorite tractor attachment by far.

I have the rachet rake too. I'm planning to get a piranha tooth bar as well. According to others above the RR will fit over the PTB.

I like that you have something on the back of the tractor. Theses tractors NEED 3 point counter weight. My front axle bearings need replaced at 730 hours because of lots of loaded use without proper weight balance.

That sounds about right. You have loaded rear tires?

No. I run over residential lawns too often.

With the 1,279 pound loader and 397 pound bucket in front I keep an implement on the back most of the time. Usually a 630 pound Rollover Box Blade, sometimes my 772 pound ETA Cultipacker. The Cultipacker is especially compact.
