- (Kuboto L3400) (Ford 1900 4WD w/FEL) (Deere X748SE) All bought new
I did try the peddles, they sucked. The dealer talked me into them, largely I suppose because that's what he had. I regret the purchase, I paid a lot, it didn't work out, I would not recommend a hydro for anything. The heat in summer, lose of power year round, just isn't worth the high dollar to buy one. Case closed.
I blew snow with my Gear 1910 for years. When I got the new L3400 I wanted a gear tractor for reliability. My dealer talked me into a hydro. I am still thanking him. There is NO way I'd go back to mowing or blowing snow with gears. Plowing and roto-tilling I leave to the 1910, that's gear territory. When doing loader work with the 1910 I wish it was a hydro.
