the part of town were this trailer was stolen from is an industrial area on the edge of a city neighborhood , bet they had no idea it was a train, bet they thought the hit a load of tools...

Not sure what year the Hummer H3 was but it was probably straining to haul that trailer with trains. Most H3's can only tow about 4500 lb. That trailer looks to be about 8-10K rated.

So while they were committing grand larceny, they should have verified their towing capacity!

The little train will be set up at a cartel king pin's ranchero for his kids and if Hummer is a down-sized version it will be given to a Central American law inforcement agency. Vehicles and weapons are among the few bribs alowed without going through national government headquarters. They don't like Military size Hummers because they are too wide for two track roads and many streets.

Is there no way to 'track' this theft?
Sure there is but once accross Rio Grand they will flip the bird and say ninny ninny boo boo.
