Storm rolled through last week, branch on a long dead pine came down on the grass. These trees are covered in poison ivy vines that I killed last year (same as one of the previous pics)- chained up the forks quick and made short work of dumping it in the woods.

It was still attached about 12' high, had to knock it down with the bucket first.

It's winter here ... by "winter" I mean overnight gets down to around 5degC on a cold night  So I've been restocking firewood at the house so it's nice and warm inside. The loader makes this so much easier.
My wife especially appreciates a warm house, so does Jennifer. It is important Jenny doesn't catch a cold or influenza, which would be notably more serious to her than any of us.

All the blocks I could possibly fit in the bucket - then after they've been split (I have built a hydraulic splitter - works really well too)

I don't mind swinging an axe - good exercise. But this way is so much quicker and easier than an axe and wheelbarrow!

Massey Ferguson 590 coming from our little potato field last spring

More about this 590 on MF59hydraulics

Another good-looking and capable machine - just finishing another day's work.
This model is one of about the last series where their styling still looked distinctively MF. Nowadays, aside from the colour, they all look so similar it's difficult to tell at a distance what brand they are.
