:D:Dhmmm....
ok..
Let me see if I got this right..
cold ears, runny nose, coughing aching stuffed up feeling..
Oh wait is that a commercial?

and I should miss this why?
:D

When we had our "BIG" (1 and half inches) snow a week or so ago yea sure it was fun.. but I'd rather play in the dirt..

I'll keep my snowless, iceless weather...:D

uh oh..

I just remembered my post above..
I now I know why we got that 12+ inches..
Somebody, somewhere has a real good sense of humor..
Lord help me for saying we'll keep our snowless winter!

for those that did not see my snow pics on the other posts..
look at these!

These are the drive from the Interstate, the county road, and my driveway...

Wasn't too bad...
I can see some fun in it with a CAB and a heater!

J

I did get some time today..
WARNING-- below are just some jumbled thoughts for a tired and weary soul!

We have an old driveway on the property and we have used it as an ATV trail... BUT it is also the way the power and phone service comes onto the property.. So a little care has to be exercised since we don't know where the underground phone lines are... A locate has been called in!!

In the last few weeks I have been working on cleaning it up and makeing it useable. Right now the ATV can hit the trail and run it at 20 MPH!! before it was a top speed of 3 MPH!! and in some cases slower!!

Not sure if I'll be able to widen it all like we want without getting some bigger equipment but we will see.

I will get some pics on the next trip down the trail!

For those that read my power lines and hanging trees post, this is where they are..

Today, we got about 150 feet widened from 5 to about 10 feet. and I wish I had pics of before... It's about 1/2 to 3/4 mile long.... gonna measue it next time the ATV heads down it....

Cutting into a bank and using the dirt to raise the side of the trail up and then smoothing.

My box blade is broke or I could do more...
But that is another story!!!

It's been very damp here, spent a half an hour Saturday pulling a guy out of the mud with the JD790. Was thinking what a moron he was to get back into an area so soft.
On Sunday, this moron got his own truck stuck and had to walk the half mile to the barn to get the JD to pull my rig out of the mud.
Today, the spot where the first moron got stuck was under two feet of water.
Can't wait till mowing season ...
