Goin out tomorrow to put up no trespassing signs. So tired of running folks off of our place. Growing up I would never have gone on someone elses property without permission. Now it seems it is perfectly ok to do so. I will eventually fence, but man is that gonna be an expensive ordeal. Venting is now over!

Been there .. done that. I finally had to fence the entire perimeter. The signs by themselves didnt help.

Oh, and the Beware of Bull sign helps alot.

The best signs to put up are, "CAUTION: GUN RANGE". People think twice about crossing a place if bullets may be flying around.

I like the ones that say ''if you can read this, your in range''. The ''security provided by smith & wesson'' ones are also nice.

I truly understand and can identify with your frustration. Perhaps you can research the laws in your State in regards to posting your property? Different States have different rules concerning the placement of signs. The distance between signs, whether or not your name and address is needed on the sign, whether your signature is required, are some of the various requirements that differ from State to State. Here in N.C. the placement is no greater than 300 feet apart. The best of Luck. I remember a thread concerning theft and trespassing on private property several months back here on TBN.

I put up some "this area under 24 hour video surveillance" signs near all the entrances to our property and that really seems to scare people off

I have to say I really like the ''caution gun range'' sign.

Signs only keep out the honest people. Just last week the neighbor called at at about 10:00 pm. He said some jerks were riding around in one of our fields on quads and shooting at deer with pistols while moving. This is not the first time this has happened. Any ideas how to stop this? And no, the game commission is not any help.

Place a few game cameras on the routes they are using to approach your fields, document time of so called "Trespassing" to camera pics.
Pa. sucks as to enforcement of "No Trespassing" laws in regards to Montana and Texas.
Land owners have to be "Creative" in Pa. to deal with this.
