I had an unusual FEL chore last summer while building our new garage. I made a jig for the pallet forks to lift up the roof trusses, and it worked like a charm. Two men with the tractor. Slid the truss onto the jig with the bottom of the truss against the back board of the forks, rolled the forks back and drove to the end of the building, raised up all the way, set the brake and climbed up, one man on each side slid it up onto the top plate, then slid it down the length of the building. Then, as they say, "Lather, rinse, and repeat" until they were all up!
