Do you have a locking fuel cap?

I had a LOT of issues with water when I first got my tractor. Eventually traced to a cheap locking fuel cap; replaced with a better one (from dealer) and all such problems vanished. Filters have water drains; just keep draining for a while.

Oh! I now place a tin can over the top of my fuel cap. Tractor is stored outside and we get, on average, about 70" of precip here a year.

Winter or summer, I NEVER let my tractor sit without a FULL tank of fuel. Winter time the gauge gets down to almost 1/2 tank and I fill it up. Summer time, rinse and repeat.

I burn incense. NEVER had a problem! :LOL:

Does condensation occur? Yes, but not to the degree that people might believe. The small amounts that do happen should readily be handled by proper filtration systems: I have a water filter on my bulk storage tank and my Kioti has a water sensor [proven to work- ha ha]).
