Re: What kinda bug?/Squirrel Fishing

Jarrod,

Great link! [[[http://www.eecs.harvard.edu/~yaz/en/squirrel_fishing.html]]]

So they even teach squirrel-fishing at Harvard! /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

So this is SCIENCE! I thought we were just havin' fun!!

But I have to say my rubber-band method probably provides more "action"! ( the squirrel often grabs the peanut, and runs off a little way to eat it in safety).

TRIES to run off, I should say. BOIINNNG!! (I TOLD you "sometimes they get mad". Notice the Harvard report mentions the look on one squirrels face !?)

Some of them fight pretty good, too. Maybe they're "bass" squirrels!

Re: What kinda bug?/Squirrel Fishing

I'm really gonna have to try this squirrel fishing thing. I can see it now, it would make the perfect date. Climb on the the trusty Kubota, pick up the lucky girl, and tractor over to the park for some squirrel fishin'!! Man, if that don't get em nothing will.

That's slicker than deer guts on a pump handle!

Hmmm. This all sounds like a set up for a new FOX special. "When squirrels attack!" /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
