Straight forward question with probably unlimited answers :) What tools do you keep on your tractor while out in the field? Any "spare parts" you keep on the tractor while you're out working (pins, clips, shackles, etc...)?

In addition to the typical, two of the most useful tools I have are a pair of welders pliers and a Woodsman's Pal.

Channellock pliers, screwdriver, roll of wire, extra hitch pins and quick links

I keep a roll of paper towels - very handy for most any occasion. And a spud wrench. Spud = crescent wrench tapering to a long pointed handle. Good for final connection of heavy implements. A few extra snap pins and bow ties. A short chunk of light rope - for holding up the hydraulic top link when connecting implements. Quit a few cotton shop rags.

An extra pair of gloves. In case the first pair is set somewhere unknown. Extra shear pins are kept on the chipper.

That's about all of it.

Multi screw driver, channel locks, vice grips, hand pruner, folding pruning saw, extra hitch pins, bungee cords, hammer.

Doesn't matter what you carry you will need the tool left on work bench. 5 gallon bucket of tools and the crescent wrench always keep on tractor but needed in shop. then away from area the bolt holding FEL came loose and no tool would tighten a 15/16th nut.
