Where is the north star or brightest star in sky?

Remember to keep the planets separated from the stars. Planets are usually the brightest.

MrJimi is having some plugin problems with StarCalc.

The time and location function may not work automatically. If things don't look correct, go into the Parameters menu and choose Options. Click the Location tab. Enter your location's latitude and longitude (easily googled) and the time zone and click O.K.

when you get everything set the way you want it, you should choose the View menu and tehn choose Save State. Be sure to check the Latitude, Longitude and Time zone box.

then, the next time you run StarCalc, choose the view menu and restor state, then choose your file. Then hit the third clock down on the left for NOW time and it should take you to the current time.

With the window open that you want to copy, hold the ALT key down and press the PRINT SCRN key. That captures the open winow to the clipboard. Then open up an image editing program like Paint Shop or Photoshop and paste it in. Then save it as a JPEG.
