Ok, I have had mostly case equipment, I can get after market parts for most of my machines, currently 580k, 1485c, 450c. I re pinned/bushings the backhoe with after market for 600, case wanted 1000. did the same for a deere if I remember about 1800. So I am used of case prices for parts and relative to other manufactures they are more cost effective.
Now you can go to any equipment catalog and see a joystick valve with the same rates as the Massey valve is 400, so its a bit of a gouge to pay massey price.
far as tin prices, its about 5.00 worth of steel, now I know it has to be made, shipped etc, but again I think its high. I did buy the tractor knowing i would have to do rust repairs thing sheet metal would be close in price to what i have paid in the past for other tractors.
