YM1100D and YM1110D engine parts

You want to get the washer and washer pieces out. It is not uncommon for mechanics to overlook the old washer and put a fresh one in, but [in general] two washers is not a recipe for an engine that runs well. Have your injectors been serviced before?

[EDIT: @winston1 corrected me on this. This engine does use two. Believe him, not me.]

I don't know anything about the rear thrust bearing movement. In general, I wouldn't be thrilled about movement, but in actual use, I'm struggling to think of when it would move side to side. The crank only moves one direction and then the thrust bearing should rotate and stay there.

All the best,

Peter

Chamber gaskets, takes 2 ea for each injector. Item 35 on parts list. Fuel Injector Chamber Gasket fits Yanmar YM1601 YM1602 YM1610 YM187 YM2700 YM1502 F15 YM1401 F14 YM2200 YM1510 F16 124950-11450

Insulator washer, shown as item 37 on parts list. Looks sort of like graphite but I really don't know the material. Fuel Injection Valve Insulator Washer fits Yanmar YM1702 YM2002 YM1510 YM1502 YM1610 YM1601 YM1401 F15 YM187 F14 YM1602 101147-11490

I agree with ponytug about the thrust bearing movement. Crank only moves one direction when in use.

I also understand the vendor parts description does not list the 1110, however, Yanmar part numbers are a match for your 1110.There are other vendors selling these part numbers at better price if you google the numbers and consider shipping.

Winston1 thank you for this info! This is very helpful! The part catalog shows two 35 items and one 37 item.

Though did you view my video?

The parts catalog shows one washer between the injector and engine, yet it looked like, in my video, that there was also a similar washer that looked like item 37. I'm guessing that someone else added this washer incorrectly. I can only assume the parts manual is correct. thanks in advance!

Jeff, I had noticed Yanmar made a 2T72LE genset engine back in the day. This service manual is in English as the engines were used in refer units on semi-trailers.

On the YTOG, look for,
YANMAR T-LE ENGINE SERVICE MANUAL 2T72HLE 2T75HLE 2T90LE 3T72HLE 3T75HLE 3T80LE 3T90LE.pdf

I'm showing "IN-2100" Injector Nozzel for the 1110
1 "IW-3854" Fuel Injector Valve Insulator. The first washer down from the Nozzel.
Then 2 "GW-4900" Chamber gasket washers. Dia. showing Between the Rear Inj. Chamber and the Inj. chamber front. 3 washers in all..

In regards to the washer needs for the injector, it's now clear to me that there's a dark gray washer between the injector and engine head.

THOUGH...I'm still having trouble with a few parts

I'm looking for the following parts for my YM1110D. (I believe the Yanmar 1401 Tractor is similar and has a 72mm boar, but I'm pretty sure the 1401 2T72 engine use a 72mm dry sleeve and I need a 72mm wet sleeve.)

YM1110/1110D parts needed

724950-01900 72mm wet sleeve cylinder for Yanmar 1110 Tractor with 2T72 engine
124950-23300 Connecting Rod Berring 44mm i.d. for Yanmar 1110 Tractor with 2T72 engine

124950-22090 72 mm x 72mm Piston for Yanmar 1110 Tractor with 2T72 engine (it's likely the YM 1401 pistion will work)

724950-22500 Pistion Rings for Yanmar 1110 Tractor with 2T72 engine, (it's likely the YM 1401 pistion rings will work)

Thanks in advance.
Jeff

Winston1: Thanks for the help on this... the rod bearing part number from the manual = 124950-23300, but the discountmarinesource.com part number = 124060-23300...does the difference in the number mater?

yes it does. I had posted in one of these thread, how to decipher the Yanmar part numbers.

Now, if the very last digit ended in a 1, 2 or 3, chances are it's an upgrade over the original.
