Dedicated drawer for those parts ... Another solution is the wheels and wire with the built in nut.

That is all I use for grinding wheels. Cut off disc however have to have those washer/nut combo. Since I keep one grinder with cut off wheel on, one with brush, one with 1/8" grinder blade and one with a tiger paw (sanding pad), I only need to change when the wheel wears out. Of all them, only the 1/16" cut off disc normally requires a special wrench as the others all have the 5/8" nut built on.

I keep 3 grinders, one with grinding wheel, one with wire brush, one with stripping disc. All have the built in nut. Rarely change other than to put on a new wheel. Recently one of my old beat up grinders broke, and another walked off, and the third was on its last legs. So took the opportunity to replace all three with $59 Bosch grinders. The biggest benefit is having the on-off button in the same place for any operation.

I have a dedicated drawer with homemade dividers for the small parts. Yes, that project is crying out for at least TIG tackup, I might have welded it with some 3/32 though. . I also started wearing a leather apron, just to many of those little wire brush pieces in my belly.

good idea. i sometimes put them in my pocket.my wife finds them in the washer.
