So I've searched this forum and even through 13 pages of a chainsaw carrier thread and can't believe I've found little to no mention of the SawHaul chainsaw carrier made and sold by Kenny Finley in Chanute, Kansas. The SawHaul was originally designed for tractors and is priced well within reach for such a high quality product.

I don't work for SawHaul but I own a few of them and just wanted to share this with my fellow TBNers because it is by far the BEST way I have found to solve a problem so many of us have. This is the BEST saw carrier I have seen in terms of versatility and ease of use. I don't like others that you have to actually clamp the saw into. When you're on an off the tractor and need to make a few quick cuts here and there, having to unclamp the saw is just one more step to slow me down. On top of that, this is made for tractors.

About the SawHaul:
Very easy to install and high quality steel construction
100% Made in the USA.
Backed up by amazing customer service.
Many methods of mounting provide incredible versatility to mount the SawHaul to virtually ANY piece of mobile equipment.
No extra clamping, gravity holds the saw in place.
The SawHaul is a very affordable way to protect your chainsaw while giving the convenience of having it readily available.

This is the complete kit with several mounting options. You can also customize your order and only buy the parts you want.

I pulled several these pics to share from the SawHaul website which better show how it mounts using the "no-drill" method. You can also directly bolt the main SawHaul bracket to just about anything.

It even works for saws with longer bars by simply mounting two sawhaul brackets spaced farther apart. This method can accomodate bars up to 36" or beyond.

The SawHaul bracket even gives a convenient place to route a cable lock to secure your saw.

That's a nice scabbard but if you run your tractor in the woods it would be much better if it mounted this way so the saw isn't sticking out there so exposed. A lower mounting point would also be better/easier. Not finding fault just saying from experience. I am sure for many that would be a perfect deal.

The SawHaul also comes with hardware so it can be mounted on the ROPS if you don’t want it on the side. In reality though even mounted on the side it is still inboard of the plane of the tires so it really isn’t getting tangled into anything unless you are already in trouble with a tree between your front and rear wheel.

I like that idea, and have been looking for a way to mount my holder in a similar manner. I'm not a good enough welder to burn the edge of the angle iron on the way that you did; but do have some channel steel which I can use.

Great way to carry one's chainsaw - but...
I thought their pricing was a little out of line. $25 for material & labor. $100 for the idea?

It's called America! If he only charged for material he wouldn't make money. Capitalism is what makes us great. Plus he offers free shipping.

Have one at Rops, at rear of tractor, interferes with nothing, saw and body completely protected by Rops and hidden by Rops and chassis/body.

Also one on my ATV. Had both for years and they work with ALL 7 of my Stihl saws.

IMHO, best ever saw holder for the price- absolutely no regrets.
