B3030 Kubota
My Take On It-
Model Year: 2007

A great tractor. Takes a lot of abuse and keeps moving.

Pros: Good size, implements are reasonable for that size, 4x4 is a must.
Cons: Parts, paint, & accessories are expensive and only sold at a "K" dealer. Dealer is 45min away.

B3030 Kubota
Kubota B3030 cab, 72" mid mower, loader
Model Year: 2010

This is my third Kubota and the "tank" mentality still holds true. I have not found it more top heavy then my old tractor(B2710) and it has done everything I have asked it to. I have had to add more treatment to my fuel to reduce smoke and soot covering the front wheel but am mowing in 100 degree weather and have the AC running. My dealer experience wasn't great since mower parts were missing and the loader block leaked and the tractor went back to the dealer within 4 hours after delivery. However, since then it has been a top performer. I decrease the value since it really is a pure luxury for the AC and Stereo and judging by my neighbors reaction, I don't even try to justify the expense. I'm worth it, at least that is what I told my wife!

Pros: Kubota toughness, AC, Stereo, remote loader joystick, seat suspension.
Cons: Price, cab seals leak slightly when power washed, headlights (same old bulbs).

B3030 Kubota
My B3030 HSDC Review
Model Year: 2006

The Kubota B3030HSDC is the first tractor I've owned, but in choosing it I looked at quite a few others. In all my looking at the time I purchased I felt I got the best value of quality and toughness of the tractor in relation to cost with the Kubota. After using my tractor for over 200 hrs here the cons: I like many others had the seat issue and I had to get the seat switched out. Secondly, I wish the cab was more noise proof. Inside the cab is noisier than I expected it to be, sometimes I'll even wear hearing protection while operating because of the noise. Thirdly, The tractor feels unstable on inclines, even small ones, you get the pucker factor easy, the tractor gives you the pucker factor easily, but it is a lot more stable than it actually feels, which is probably a good thing. With that said Once I replaced the seat the tractor is very comfortable to sit in and operate. Although the cab is nosier than I would like, the air and the heat work great and the cab has great visibility. I move snow out of the driveway sitting in a t-shirt in the cab when it is -20 deg F...... NICE! As far as the unstable feeling the 1.5" wheel spacers would probably help a bit but I don't want to pay the 3 or 4 hundred dollars I was quoted to have them installed. I have moved a lot of snow, a lot of large rocks, lots of dirt, mowed a lot of grass, and put in a 1.5 acre yard with the tractor and it has not missed a beat. Quality, comfort (with seat replaced), and Power wise, I can't say anything but good about the B3030 HSDC.

Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Operate, Good Power, AC & Heat In Cab work great, Quality Tractor
Cons: Cab is a little noisy, It has a quick pucker factor which makes it feel unstable on inclines

B3030 Kubota
Hydrostatic too noisy
Model Year: 0

My only complaint about this tractor is the noise level in the cab. The hydrostatic transmission is noisy as hell. The installed radio is totally useless given the noise level in the cab.

Pros: operational ease
Cons: nosiy in the cab due to transmission whine

All around nice tractor. Don't have a lot of hours on it, but no maintenance issues so far. Everything works like it is supposed to. I bought this used with a Kubota front mount snow blower, which works great. Heated and air conditioned cab is a great luxury, but it is a bit loud in the cab. Hydrostatic transmission is smooth and great for back and forth work. I have the rear wheel spacers, which widen the track a bit and make me more comfortable with it on the hills.

Pros: Nice all around, cab is a great luxury.
Cons: Louder in the cab than I would like.

B3030 Kubota
B3030

This is my first tractor other than a riding mower/garden tractor. I thought about what I needed (wanted may be a better word) then did my research on the internet. For what I was looking for (4WD, HP, attachments) Kubota seemed to fit the bill. Being in a rural community there were plenty of people to talk to about tractors and none had a disparaging word about Kubota. Not even from the Deere die-hards. Although the B3030 is more tractor than I originally intended to buy, I thought about how much fun it is to push the snow against a 20 MPH north wind and how the cab option would eliminate such joy from my life. I moved the choice up a notch. I've not had any mechanical problem with it so far and have done my own maintenance. During my first winter with it I would have to crank it over quite a bit, IMHO, to get it started. In the spring I installed a block heater from the dealer and now it starts right up in cold weather. (The B3030 is housed in an unheated pole barn.) I estimated the operational cost of the block heater at $1 per day three years ago. Quite a few people have complained about the seat, but for me ...ignorance is bliss. It's not a $200 problem for me ...yet. The headlights an work lights are adequate. They light up the area in front and behind as well as can be expected but there is little to no illumination to the left or right when turning. A dome light for the cab would be a big plus as well as a 12V power point. The cab is great for keeping the dust or weather out. If the sun is shining and it's 50 degrees out the A/C will be on (greenhouse effect). What the cab will not keep out is the noise and I honestly don't believe it was designed to do so. If the glass door breaks it's $330 (Dec. 2009) for a replacement with a new door seal. Easy to install.(It was my fault and I don't want to talk about it.) Attachments: Kubota LA403 FEL, Kubota 60" MMM, Landpride 72" rear blade, Woods 60" rototiller.

Pros: Ease of operation, Reliability
Cons: Cab hight can be a hinderance

B3030 Kubota
Kubota 3030

This is a nice little tractor. I use it mostly for mowing in the summer and clearing snow and moving firewood in the winter. I also use it for drilling post holes and sonotube footings, for running a 6" chipper and any other kind of yard work that comes along. It is very easy to maneuver because of the size and the hydrostatic forward/reverse in a single pedal. This is especially useful when working in small areas, clearing snow close to the house, and carrying firewood up to my deck. The loader bucket just fits between the rails of the stairway going up to the deck, and that saves me a lot of work when bringing in my firewood! The engine always starts, but it really rattles and makes black smoke when it is cold. Even when it warms up, it is nowhere near as smooth-running or quiet as my Yanmar-powered John Deere 4510. I have not really had a problem with the seat, possibly because of my size and weight, but smaller people complain that the forward-sloping design of the seat makes them feel as if they are sliding forward, and they have to keep pushing themselves back in the seat. My friend bought a new Kubota, and he ended up having to replace the seat. The manufacturer is aware of this problem, yet he still had to pay over $200 for the replacement seat! I think the manufacturer should have taken better care of their customer. Also, the cup holder is behind the seat. It is difficult to reach your water bottle while you are driving the tractor.

Pros: Easy to operate and manuever
Cons: Engine vibrates quite a bit, especially when cold. There is a known problem with the seat, but replacement cost falls on the buyer. Cup holder is behind the seat, rather than on the fender, where it should be.

If I could change just one thing about the tractor, I would widen the stance/gauge significantly. Lots of hills on the property, and there's just too much "pucker factor". I added the wheel widening kit which helped some. Not enough.

Pros: A/C operates very well, even in 90-100 deg temps, great reliability & fuel economy, sufficient power
Cons: Noise level in cab, exhaust comes into cab, COG too high

This little tractor will do a lot on the acreage. I have the cab version, it will pickup a big round bale but the wheelbase is so narrow that it gets a little tippy. For cleaning lots and general mowing, snow removal, etc it is great. We had a really hard winter and the heated cab was great. Always started even below zero without being plugged in. Road gear is way slow and I wish it had rear hydraulics, but other than that I really like it. Oh yea, the seat is off the chart uncomfortable if your in it for very long.

Pros: Super easy to operate. Climate control cab is great.
Cons: A little tippy at times, the cables for the loader joystick suck

This tractor has made my life so much easier. It replaced a 1947 Ford 2N. I have not had any problems with it. It's only been back to the dealer for regular maintenance. I use it to brushog, mow, plow snow, maintain the driveway, move large bales of hay, landscaping, and lots of lifting.

Pros: I love the hydro transmission.
Cons: The seat is a bit uncomfortable.

I'm very satisfied with the B3030, which replaced a 1948 Ford 8N. It's generally top quality. I've never had it back to the dealer; done all service myself and I'm no pro. Cons listed below are generally minor stuff. No major complaint whatsoever.

Pros: Very reliable; good in snow even without chains or weighted wheels; good performance with loader, 5-foot Bush Hog, 5-foot back blade in snow
Cons: Seat comfort could be better; needs more accessible toolbox; flimsy steel guards for front tie rods; flimsy-feeling plastic dashboard cowling; vulnerable retaining stud for loader legs broke off; fenders seem a little light
