M6800 Kubota
Good Tractor
Model Year: 2005

Bought used with 72 hrs. at auction. It is a utility w/loader and I like it a lot. I made a Bob-Tach adapter for the loader arms and I can now use Bobcat attachments. It pulls a 17' batwing mower with plenty of reserve power. I feel that I got more tractor for the money than I would have buying a JD or NH.

Pros: Heavy built, durable and easy to maintain.
Cons: 3-point hitch arm does not adjust far enough.

M6800 Kubota
M6800 Not a Winner
Model Year: 2007

This tractor bought with @200 hr on it from a Kubota dealer. Lower ram packin' started leakin' in @ 20 hrs. Dealer would not take care of it. Had rebuilt, lasted @80 hr and ram snapped in half. Dealer would not fix under any warranty and or customer satisfaction. Had new ram put on, shop showed me were ram was previously cracked /rusted at surface crack. Also showed me that entire bucket/lift system is off by @ 2" when sitting on level ground. Asked dealer again to do warranty and correct system---"no". At @ 600hr. started to have to continually adjust clutch, now at 956 hr needs clutch now. Have never had a clutch go out on any of our tractors over the yrs. some with 4000 plus hrs. No dealer should sell this kind of equipment . Must have been leased and beaten up before they sold it to me. Very disappointed with local dealer and Kubota in general. This model is 60 hp too small for cat 2 emplacement , too large for cat 1. Not a good way to go.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: See above.

Kubota M6800
Model Year: 2005

My very first tractor purchased from a dealer in Waxahachie, TX. I knew nothing about tractors but they set me up with the equipment I needed for this job (340 acres of treed pastures). Lots of mowing, clearing brush, hauling, lifting, etc. I have 12 implements and all operate great. This tractor is not too small nor too big for the job, just right. Very dependable and relatively easy to operate.

Pros: Dependable and easy to operate.
Cons: None.

M6800 Kubota
M6800 an Excellent Medium-Duty Tractor
Model Year: 2006

I bought this tractor new after getting fed up with my MF175, which I still use to haul wagons, etc. The M6800 has been super reliable and is an excellent choice for medium-duty work such as hay-making, snow-blowing, manure spreading, and light tillage. Definitely get the FWD model, or you'll probably have a very different opinion of this tractor. The only time I get upset with this tractor is when I have to bleed the fuel line when replacing a filter or dumping the water separator, perhaps because the bleed mechanism is so poorly described in the owner's manual.

Pros: Fuel efficiency, reliability, durability.
Cons: Fuel line bleed could be better; no brake indicator.

M6800 Kubota
Good Tractor
Model Year: 2005

Everything has worked well with the tractor and has pretty good power. I pull a Vermeer 5x5 Silage baler and it handles it pretty good. It doesn't have the emission crap on it either. The only problem I have ever had was the clutch needed replaced at 1200 hrs.

Pros: Excellent tractor so far
Cons: Replaced the clutch at 1200 hours

M6800 Kubota
Very Reliable
Model Year: 2005

It has been extremely reliable, knock wood, and I have been able to service it myself without much mechanical ability. I use a 6-foot bush hog, 9-foot pull type disk, loader, and a 100-gallon 3-point sprayer. Don't empty the fuel filter and water trap at the same time or you'll play hell bleeding and restarting - I finally soaked my t-shirt in some gas and held it in air cleaner. I would not want 2-wheel drive model.

Pros: Reliability, simple service
Cons: Hard to bleed fuel system
