PATSEASYCHANGE Greenwell
Pat's Easy Change System
Model Year: 2010

Super easy to install and even easier to use. I was so impressed that I bought my Father-in-law one. He also loves his.

Pros: Easy to use, well built, responsive manufacturer.
Cons: Adds length to the lower links, but not an issue at all. It was all I could think of.

Needs One Other Thing
Model Year: 2010

They need to sell an extended top link. The system pushes back the implement another 4 to 5 inches and my top link that came with the tractor is almost at full extension. That doesn't give me to much wiggle room to level the tiller and cultivators I use.

Pros: Makes hook up easier.
Cons: Needs a special, longer top link to make fully useful.

Easy Change for Hobby Farmer
Model Year: 1996

I use the Easy Change for my brush hog, PTO spray rig, BearCat Chipper, and LandPride rollover box. I don't know what else is out there, but for me this is the best "back saver" ever (used on John Deere 870).

Pros: Easy on and off of heavy implements.
Cons: The snap pin/washer combo needs some rethinking.

PATSEASYCHANGE Greenwell
Pat's Easy Change
Model Year: 2005

I bought this product after reading about it here on Tractorbynet. I briefly tried a quick hitch but that product required the implement to use Cat 2 pins using an adapter. I didn't like that so I tried the Easy Change. It works very well and I have never needed to adjust my arms since. The only criticism I have is the fact that you need something to hold the arms spread apart. Pat's sells one but the reports I read were that it was too flimsy. Over the years I have come up with a couple of ideas, but I have been too busy to make one. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone.

Pros: Well made, durable, solves the pain of adjusting the arms.
Cons: Needs a quality device to keep the arms spread while attaching an implement.

Great Product
Model Year: 0

Originally bought the system for a Kioti and transferred it to my John Deere. For me, this is a must have item. It makes changing implements a breeze and a one man job. Wouldn't be without.

Pros: Well built.
Cons: None.

Pat's Easy Change System
Model Year: 0

Great system! Easy to install and use. It will definitely save you time when changing equipment. The only reason I rate it four stars in reliability is because I have had to replace a roll pin and some springs, which were supplied by Greenwell Man. at no cost after a friendly telephone call. You will not be disappointed with this product!

Pros: Ease of use.
Cons: None.

Pat's Service, and products great!
Model Year: 2002

The quick changer works like a top. Only one suggestion, the spreader attachment. I lost one arm almost immediately, made one out of re bar, but it is near useless, as I am not real adept at tool manufacturing. Anyway the device works great.

Pros: easy installation, easy connecting attachments
Cons: easy to lose the spreader attachment parts.

Love my Easy Change System
Model Year: 2008

The easy change aspect is just as advertised... great! I had some other problems during my first year, until I finally realized that I had made a mistake in installation (a spacer should NOT have been used on my tractor, which I didn't realize until I bent a stabilizer bar twice). Once I finally realized the source of my problem, I took the spacer out and have had NO MORE problems. This is my first tractor and not my only "rookie" mistake.

Pros: Really simple to use, much easier hookups!
Cons: Can't think of any. Can't blame user error on the product! :)

Excellent Product
Model Year: 2007

The Pat's Easy Change System works exactly as advertised. The reason for my 1 star rating on performance is because I found it to be virtually unusable since I have a power top and tilt system. The geometry of everything changes when the lifting bars are extended and I would have had to replace some hydraulic cylinders to try to get it to work so I just took it off and it is sitting in a box in my garage. I really liked the system but it just didn't work on my installation. Will sell for 1/2 price + actual shipping costs.

Pros: Solidly built.
Cons: Wouldn't work with power top and tilt.

First accessory added to new B3030 the day I got the tractor
Model Year: 2009

The first accessory to go on my B3030 when I bought it was the Pat's Easy Change system. I have to hook and unhook my rear blade each day (garage space limited) and I can easily do both operations in under 2 minutes...and that's just doing it at a relaxed pace. I had the same system on my first Kubota BX1800 and decided years ago that I wouldn't have a tractor without this system. I had one spring break after the first year and am aware from Tractorbynet posts that Greenwell is happy to send replacement springs, but I found it just as easy to wrap a small bungee around the T-handle to keep it secured. That works just fine, so I didn't consider it an issue. I'd recommend this product to everyone with a tractor....and do!

Pros: Ease of implement attachment.
Cons: None

Amazing
Model Year: 2010

Been reading about Pat's Hitch while struggling alone changing implements (I am handicap). Decided to give Pat's a try. Very surprised at the ease of use and they provided extra washers for additional implements when requested. Very pleased. As a retired engineer who usually finds flaws, that's saying something! Pros: Ease of use.
Cons: Extends lower arm length.

Pat's Easy Change Fittings
Model Year: 2009

I love this product. It makes mounting my implements much easier. Initially, you need to make sure that you get all the adjustments right but the parts are easy to install and instructions are good. Pat's fittings are really strong. I wish I had ordered the spreader bar with it, but didn't. I made one but I am sure it is not as good. Great product! Thanks.

Pros: Makes for quick hookups.
Cons: None.

Pat's Easy Change
Model Year: 2003

I do a lot of work here at home but also a lot of landscape and excavation type work, which requires frequent changes of 3 pt equipment. Tried a quick hitch, but discovered very quickly that even equipment from the same mfg. do not have all the same 3pt. dimensions! So the quick hitch is rusting in the barn now that I've had the PEC for 7 yrs. Made my own adjustable spreader from a turn buckle and all thread. Highly recommend the PEC. Joe Kioti CK20

Pros: Works great - recommend it.
Cons: Make your own adjustable spreader bar.

Pleased Overall
Model Year: 2009

We change implements on our Kubota L39 several times a day in busy seasons. The L39 does not have the extendable lower links found on many of the Kubota models so hooking up can be a real pain. The Pat's Easy Change links have been a great time and back saver. Even if the tractor is not perfectly aligned with the implement, the bumpers are stout enough to shove the implement into alignment. From that point it is just a matter of raising the lower links to engage the implement. The spacing between lift links on the "standardized" Category 1 3-point varies all over the place. We have found the easiest way to adjust the hitch spacing for the implement is to hook a bungee between the lower links and use the anti-sway adjusters to pull the links apart to the appropriate spacing. A tape measure in your pocket is the only tool needed. Greenwell's Stabilizer Bar would be in the way of a PTO drive-line. Things that have to be removed have a habit of vanishing around here. I tried the PVC pipe spacer gauge idea. It worked but the gauges disappeared so frequently that we gave up. There are other expenses that you need to investigate as part of choosing the Pat's system. The Pat's hooks are 3-4 inches further back than the factory swivel balls. Your top link will need to be that much longer, as well. If your PTO shaft(s) are not long enough to accommodate the additional set back, you will be replacing them, too. It can get expensive. Despite the negatives I still think that the Pat's Easy Change system is a good performer and a good value. Just consider what you may be in for.

Pros: Makes implement changing much easier.
Cons: Other components may have to be changed out.

A great device....wish I had gotten one earlier
Model Year: 2009

Was looking into a quick attach for my tractor but most would have required making adjustments to some of my implements. This alternative is easy to install and makes hooking up attachments a breeze. Getting off the tractor is a minimal inconvenience in that for most of my implements I have to get off the hook up the hydraulics.

Pros: Easy to install, easy to use.
Cons: None.

I bought one when he first began making them. They are really nice people to work with. I have the slip in on JD 5095M (cat II) and on TV6070 NH Bi-Directional (cat III, this particular slip in is no longer available). I have the cat 1 on both Case-IH DX45 and the Kubota B3200. I became a dealer for them several years ago and I sell them with a 30 day money back guarantee. If you are not happy with it return it for a refund. I would not take $500.00 for one set, if I could not replace. Someone told me that they are expensive, my reply was "no they ain't, back surgery is expensive".

Pros: Set your lower link sway bars back into the implement raise links automatic snap hook up top link
Cons: 4" inches behind standard lift point unless using weld-on or sleeve type
