We primarily use our Toolcat to move hay, and clear snow. For our application, it may be overkill, but the visibility, two person seating (great for taking the kids along), and ease of use is a combination hard to find in another machine. We have a rear rough cut mower, rear blade, pallet forks, and a Bobcat snowblower. The only thing performance-wise that I'm disappointed in is the traction. When I bought it, I was hoping it would be able to work in rougher terrain (I like to cut trails through the bush on our property). I haven't gotten really stuck, but I worry about the wiring harness getting snagged, and have cut a fuel line as well. I replaced the wiring harness because of a short (thankfully under warranty), but haven't had any other problems that weren't caused by operator error. We have a decent bobcat dealer close by, which is nice.
Pros: Excellent versatility, lots of attachments to rent, maneuverable.
Cons: Wiring harness worries, not a rough terrain machine, no float on 3-pt. hitch.
