Nice seeing another 5103:) Your's is the same setup to mine. How do you like it? I think I could use those same mods:) Of course the tool box holder could double as a cooler holder:)

Thanks for the ideas.

-USMC- I use 10,000# straps (4) in a cross pattern front and rear.

can you send a pic with it tied down? I am having trouble figuring out how to tie mine down. right now I am doing a over under on the front axle and over the trailer hitch in back with chains.

I don't have any pictures with the tractor loaded on the trailer but I'll see if I can explain it. Starting from the rear of tractor either side, from near side/rear of trailer at about 45deg angle over near side axle and under to far side trailer at about 45deg. Repeat on other side. On front same setup and then tighten until I see some compression in tires. I tighten toward the front as that will be the major motion the tractor will want to move while braking so I already have tension in that direction. After a couple of full stops I will check all straps to insure they are still tight. As a side note please insure you loop/tie extra strap to keep it from dangling and getting under a tire. That will ruin a perfectly good day. I hope this helps.
