If you look at the torque chart the tundra has 80%(320lb-ft) of total torque(401lb-ft)available at 1200rpm, 90%(360lb-ft) of total torque(401lb-ft) available at 2000rpm; 95%(380lb-ft) of total at 2800. Horse power is a horse of a different color, rated much higher in the rpm range(3500rpm and up)
wkpoor; your van is a rated 1 ton; we're talking a rated 1/2 ton pick-up. Not exactly apples to apples but yet I'll wager with your trailer(balanced)load, the tundra would have no trouble pulling it;not saying I want to be driving
