Stihl MS260 vs.MS 361

Since I am an occasional user, and my friend is just doing this on the side, and will be buying more saws eventually, I bought 2 of these, with 18" bars, made more economical sense. Also bought 2 forestry hardhat/face shield/ear protection combos.

Did you buy the MS260 or 361?

I have a stupid question.... I have an older (~10 years) 036 pro. Is that the same saw as the MS361? Did they just add a cat converter to the 036 and call it a MS361?

There has been a couple of models in between but they are the same size saws.
