Internet pricing and delivery

1*I am wondering how many of you have purchased a tractor via internet and where a good place to get a deal would be.
2*We are going to see if we can get better pricing by purchasing two.
3* How about shipping?

3=Used 48''MMM
4=New 48'' MMM
5=New 54'' Front Blade
6=New 48'' Tiller.
3*In spite of shipping I paid way less than I could have gotten it here.
Very well pleased with the package and the dealer and the service.

2*I think you would get a better deal talking to a dealer in person than over the phone or internet.

1*Because
A=Better lower price
B=No sales tax.
C= Availibility [EXAMPLE] My Local Dealer didn't have 2 BX1500 tractors but the internet dealer did.
2*Tried that didn't work because he didn't have what I wanted.

I've been to the nearest dealer (not much in stock) and seems that the prices I have seen on line are much better. I understand that I should support my local dealer but seem to have seen some great deals on-line. I will see if he will match price and if it is in the same range I will buy local.
His price;
L5030 with LA853=$27,135
L5740 with LA844=$31,785

I have bought 3 Kubotas.
None of them from my local dealer.
But He's still making money from me because I buy parts and supplies here from him.
He should be delighted someone else sold me 3 tractors to create a market for him to sell parts and service for.

You can buy from another dealer like Carver, but you will forgo the 0% financing unless you actually close the deal in person at the dealership.

This was not true when I purchased my 2 BX1500 tractors from Brady Barlow.
I never signed a thing till after they were delivered and inspected.

I have bought 3 Kubotas.

1*But how many were true and how many times were there that this was never a problem that you didn't hear about?
A lot of this I've read was speculation opinion or sombodys assumption but no actual documented case.

Let's look at another thing.
I buy one tractor and take it to the dealer i bought it from for service and buy all my parts and supplies there.
On the other hand you buy 3 tractors from another dealer but you take all 3 of them to the same dealer I do for service and buy all your parts and supplies there.

Because my local dealer wanted 9k more than what I ended up paying. When I gave him the last shot at the deal he said that was the price take it or leave it. I left it. I do my own service and if I have a warrenty issue I can always elivate it through Kubota. Try Barlows in KY.

What is the big difference between the -1 engine and the old one? I'm new to looking at Kubota's so my knowledge on them is minimal.

The -1 engines meet some new emissions requirements and were released in conjunction with a price increase from Kubota.

Not sure why Carver told me that just about 2 weeks ago. I started on this forum in 2003 and many folks on the board around that time were ordering from Carver. Back then they were allowed to post their prices on the internet. I think some dealers started getting mad because they were warranty repairs on machines that they did not sell and asked Kubota to step in and make some changes. Buying online kinda lost favor after that. In fact, I rarely see Carver's mentioned any more on here.

I am not saying that there hasn't been any good things about buying from another dealer or on the internet. I am just saying that there are alot of dealers out there that dont like to get into the warranty issues becuase of the time an paperwork it makes them and the minimal amount of money they make on warranties. We have all heard this on this website numerous times.
Some dealers also like to have customer loyalty, you buy a tractor from me and I will have your back on future service and issues. I know this doesn't happen sometime but there are times it does.

Yes because you have 3 tractors you might spend more money at a single dealer, but when warrenty issues come up this means nothing. There might be a person that bought on tractor from that particular dealer and his warrenty issues will be fixed first and faster becuase he bought the machine from them.

Sorry if I have started anything. I am just stating things that I have seen and heard from people on this site and others.
