I have a NH TC34DA and am about to buy a King Kutter 60-inch tiller. Does anyone know if I will have to shorten the PTO shaft on the tiller?

When you hook it up, you will know.

If you can't hook it up, you will know for sure. Seriously, there should be a minimum of 6" of overlap at the longest length and sufficient clearance to connect and disconnect the shaft at the closest point.

You will definitely have to shorten it. I bought that same tiller for my tc33da much the same tractor. Do not forget to put the oil in the tiller, top and side filler holes,it did not take as much as the instruction book said .
