I think I "need" a air ride seat for my 5525 cab. I had them add it to the 4520 cab we just got and man it is nice. Has anybody priced one? How hard is the install?

I have one in my 5525 but it was factory installed...think it cost about 500 bucks...sure it will be substantially more since its after the fact...I do however think it is well worth the money...really saves my back.

Yeah, I am impressed. I suspect my dealer will do me right on it.

Don't know about adding one after the fact. I got mine from das factory. :D My first impression would be that it is not going to be cheap. I don't think they'll give you credit for a seat exchange. :)

I can use the old base to build a new deer blind or something.

Darin, update on the box blade. I had it on the 9540 full of dirt/mud trying to make a swell to drain some water. Nearly bogged the 9540 down with right side in existing ditch. Box blade had me hung up and could not lift it anymore. Thought I had bogged down for sure, when I tried to back up it was pushing more dirt. Forward was only way out without un-hooking blade. Gave it one last attempt and came on out. Quit while I was ahead. Bottom line was the blade is pretty rigid. MBX model from bush hog. Sorry to add it to this post.

They are easy to add after the fact. After riding in mine, my father added one to his. fairly simple and inexpensive, compared to what you thinnk it would be.
