Grand L Cab Tractors-Do they have a horn?

The specifications on the Kubota web site lists a horn for my Grand L 5740. However, I can not find a horn. Do the 40 series cab tractors have horns?

Hmmm, haven't noticed one on my 5740, but then I just expect everyone to get out of the way when I raise the FEL to ramming position.

My new L4240 Grand Cab got a horn. Right in the middle of the steering wheel and it goes Beep, Beep. They don't advertize them as having a horn and it's a nice feature.

Dang '4', you've had your tractor a week and your already able to answer questions. With expertize I might add! This is how it all started by our '4'fathers here on TBN. Keep up the good work!

Ha! Oh ya I can take it. No problem there I'm always fooling around for sure. You can hurt my feeling (only got the one) That's what keeps it all interesting Don.

I installed a in cab mirrow today on the new rig and removed them cheap looking upper amber lights they put on the top of the cab and installed the newer LED's I just love LED's

Well, you know, you need to start another thread for your customizing....of course, with pictures! For some unknown reason, I'm anticipating several customizing projects from you......and I can hardly wait!

Hey 4shorts, I'd like a cab mirror for my tractor. I'm kinda spoiled to the "5 panel" wide angle mirror I have on my off-road golf cart, but it's too long for my cab. What kind of mirror did you install?

Also, I bought a compact air horn to replace that cheezy beep-beep job that Kubota installed. I'm hoping that I can use the existing horn relay and steering wheel button.

The older L's had the horn in the light switch if memory serves....

I sent you a PM about the mirror. I'd like to install an in-cab mirror in mine as well. I also would be interested in changing out the flashers.
