Hey all,
Great forums here. You all have answered a lot of my questions.
This is for the dealers. I'm wanting to add a grapple on my FEL. I have a backhoe, so I guess I have a PB circuit already.
Is there a dealer issued kit to allow me to do what I'm wanting?

Thanks,
Patrick

Patrick,
No, Mahindra doesn't make anything specific for what you want to do, but generic hydraulic parts can be used. You are either going to install a diverter valve which will divert your bucket tilt, to operate the grapple. This option has been discussed on this forum before. The other option would be to order a 2 way single spool valve with power beyond option. You would plumb the PB port from the loader valve to the in port on your new valve, the out port on the new valve would tee into the return line on the loader valve. The line that was originally on the PB port on the loader valve, would now go to the PB port on your new valve. The load ports will plumb to the grapple cylinder. Good luck with it and if you have any questions feel free to contact me and I will help if I can.

Thanks Galen!
You answered everything in one paragraph that I've seen discussed in thread after thread!
I'll probably be getting back to you.

This is something I wish I'd have thought of at the time of purchase. As much as I like my dealer, I wish he would have spent some time addressing this issue.

Poc,
We have a third function valve for your ML111 loader.
The complete kit is $549.00 plus shipping.
It will come with everything you will need to put hydraulics out the front.
This kit is a electronic diverter valve.

Just want to remind everyone that the valve on the ML111 is set up different than the rest. It is not using the in, out and power beyond. Your in and out hoses are connected to the pressure and power beyond on the valve block. It can still be done, it's just not as easy as what Galen said on this particular model. His plan works on almost all the other ones though...:D

Oops.. I went back and looked that he DOES have the backhoe... nevermind.. backhoe replumbs more for PB.... It should not be too hard to plumb it all in.

I can't decide what route to go, the eleecttric switch or the real valve. I like the idea of a valve so I can use it for other things (and be able to "think" of it as something separate).

Thanks for all the info.

I would go with the separate valve. SOOO many other things you can use it for.
