When I was tractor shopping, I was dead set that I wanted a Kubota B7500. I went by the dealership everyday and drooled on my way to work. Stopped and drove one several times. Then when I got serious, I looked at other tractors. Kioti, only one dealership locally. He had quit selling them because of "quality" problems - his words, not mine. He also had Long, but he was expensive on those. I then went to the JD dealership. Drove a couple of green ones. They were expensive and I just didn't like the tractor itself. Wasn't comfortable to me and didn't seem to be laid out right or something. I then went to test drive a New Holland. Didn't want to because it was a Ford, I don't like Fords and didn't want anything to do with one. Once I drove the New Holland, it was like Kubota? An orange tractor, no way. I loved how the New Holland felt and drove. The dealer treated me well (even though others had told me he would screw me), gave me a price several thousand less than Deere, and several hundred less than Kubota. And now at 5 years and 1,000 hours, the tractor still starts the first time, every time. Only a couple of minor issues early on with the tractor, but were taken care of quickly by the dealer. Everything I've needed for the tractor - OK, filters (haven't needed anything else for the tractor
) have been in stock. I've bought a few things for the MMM, a couple of belts, and some bearings for the wheels (I've found what I was doing wrong with those) but they've all been in stock. I keep telling Monica that I want a new tractor, but in reality I don't. Can't justify for something that has done everything I've asked it to do, even though it was really beyond its realm, but it has done it w/o issue. I just really like my New Holland.
