2007/8 kioti ck25hst

IM LOOKING AT BUYING THIS TRACTOR WITH A 72" FINISH MOWER. MOWER SAYS YOU NEED AT LEAST 20 HP AT PTO, TRACTOR ONLY HAS 18. DEALER SAYS NO PROBLEM HAVE ANY OF YOU TRYED THIS. AND IS THIS TRACTOR ANY BETTER OR WORSE THAN MIHINDRA?

I wouldn't worry about running a 6ft finish mower on that tractor. In heavy grass you might need to slow down but it should handle the mower just fine.

Mahindras are also very nice. I don't think they are any nicer or better value than Kioti but they are definitely worth looking at.

I have the CK25 gear. Great tractor. I looked at the Mahindra too. It is a nice tractor. But, I thought the Kioti was a little better designed. Couldn't go wrong with either.

If you are putting the Mahindra 2615 or 2816 up against the the Kioti I would be leaning on the Kioti.
Thre is nothing wrong with the Mahindra as far a performance or ability..it's just that the Kioti has many more creature comforts.

If you are looking to get into the CK25 you better hurry up they are going fast and once there gone there gone.
They will be replaced with the new CK27 that is carring a much large price tag

Rick sells both brands of tractor so I'd say he is qualified to judge.

Thanks to all. Its been a real ongoing battle. With my wife"commander and cheif". But if it wasnt for her i would be mowing 3.5 acres with a 12ft. batwing mower and a 65 hp john deere!! so i guewss she keeps me balanced.I have alot of experience with equipment,im 28 and grew up farming and running the family logging buiss. here in N.C. But ive never owned my on tractor.I just sold my 60" exmark because my 2.5 year old says he wants an up and down tractor,[front end loader]. Ive decided to go with the ck25 gear and the 72" kioti finish mower. Would like a higher end mower but trying to put that money toward tractor."The wife".Has any one used these kioti finish mowers. And does the gear models change like a shuttle shift? Agin thanks to all ,Im glad to have found a site like this. By the way we have a 95 hydroax 411e if you Know anyone looking. Thanks!!

The CK25 gear is a shuttle shift: Pick gear, shuttle forward/reverse. Tranny is fully synchronized 4 speed, but you must stop to change high/low ranges. Nice tranny with the live pto.

Kioti mower..I have never replace a gear box or spindels on one yet just belts and blades.
You can beat it for the money!

Mr. Wallace, i was almost to the dealership today when they called me and said they just found out they cant get a ck25 gear anymore just as you had said. However they worked out a deal with kioti to sell me a 25hst they had on lot for the agreed price on the gear. I was very pleased with this deal!! Thanks for the heads up! Why are they going to a 27, were there complaints about 25hp not enough for that size frame ? And does anybody make a ditch bank cutter for a tractor this size?

youre getting a hydro tractor at a gear price?? i would wish myself Merry early Christmas on that one if I were you! you're going to love that hydro tranny more then you realize. I don't have one, never owned one, but if i had a smaller tractor i'd sure want one! i don't know alot about Kioti but if i had to guess, i would think that their reasoning for introducing that new ck27 is to keep up with tractors such as Kubota's new BX and JD's 2720, etc. keeping up with the Jones' pretty much. isnt the ck25 the one theyve been offering with the free front end loader? if so, those tractors have been selling like crazy!
