Looks like I am going to have a prob with the service manual

So can anyone help me solve my main problem. The glow plugs don't work.
When I disconected the wire on the engine side of the firewall, and ran a hot wire to them they heated. Is there a timer for them, a relay or what, and where?
If I can't get any info, I guess I will just install a manual switch to turn them on.

I was told by my Century dealer's mechanic that service manuals were not available to the customer. Service manuals they use are from the Century company and are company provided. I did a google search and found several operator's manual available for the Century 2035 but I am not sure if that will help. I also found a web site called...Yesterday's Tractor co. at 1-800-853-2651..they offer service manuals for several brands of tractors. Might want to give them a try.

Which tractor ?
I have a shop manual, I'll look it up if it covers your tractor model.

There is a glow plug timer on the 2035.
On the rear side of the firewall look for a tall thin object on the right, that is the turn signal and 4 way flasher, the glow plug timer is just to the left of that. On the front of the firewall there is a glow plug relay R3 in the top right corner

First check fuse #4, counting from the top on the 2035, count from right on 2045, that is 5 amp and protects the glow plug and manifold heater control.

Let me know if this helps - or not.
I could fax you some troubleshooting pages if needed, but please do check those fuses first.

Reg try again. Fixed link - actually updated it with the correct 2035/2045 electrical diagam. The first post was attempting to link to the 3035/2045 diagram, which is slightly different that the 2035/2045 - mainly around the glow plug wiring.

I don't live in Phoenix, it gets down to the 20's here, and much colder in other parts of AZ.

Yeah, I've driven rental cars on snow and ice up there (-:

BTW, the shop manual is a little confused in translation.
Front/rear of the firewall isn't consistent, and left/right isn't always "as viewed from the driver's position facing to the front of the tractor".

"The Tractor's Mass" in the electrical sense means chassis ground - I guess 'chassis ground' is an odd term, but supposedly English is the hardest (& oddest) language to learn.
