Can I plant corn??

/ Can I plant corn?? #101
I just wanted to report back on this. I sprayed BT on my later crop of corn when the silks first appeared. Only a few hundred plants so I walked up and down the rows and sprayed the 'ear area' of the plants. Repeated every 7-10 days. I did not have one single corn ear worm in that planting. Seemed to be less earwigs as well.

I don't know why, but BT has a unique odor that drives my sinuses nuts, but it sure seems to work good. I think it has an oily surfactant that allows it to spread out. I found it was good treatment for worms on my corn. The raccoons really appreciated how well I took care of the corn for them.

Yeah, it definitely does _not_ have a pleasant smell... but then it's bacteria so.. :)

We like to BBQ the corn, where you chop the silk end off, soak it in a bucket of water for a while and then throw it on the grill. I didn't want to use Sevin or other pesticide for this reason.
