I have a 3 year old bottle of fuel stabilizer.
How long does it last?

I looked it up on their web site.

"What is the shelf life of STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer? 2 years after the bottle has been opened, provided it has been tightly capped and stored in a cool, dry place."

I would just use it at 3 years. Shelf life often has more to do with bringing in return customers than the product actually still doing it's designed task.

I am offerring for sale a fuel stabilizer stabilizer, especially oriented toward Sta-Bil.

If you add some of my fuel stabilizer stablizer, Sta-Bil will be much more stabil.

For those of you wanting to stock up on Sta-Bil, Stabil Sta-Bil, etc. I am also selling a stabilizer for the stabilizer for the stabilizer.

Everyone is entitled to their personal choices. But it is not difficult to read good and bad about any product available for any purpose.

Here is the test I did take a glass jar and fill it halfway up with gas then put a small amount of sta-bil and watch it stay on the top of the gas, take seafoam and do the same test, the seafoam mixes with the gas and does not set on top.coobie

Look at what sea foam is made of

Mostly alcohol , forget what kind.

With just about all gasoline containing 10% ethanol today why would you need to add a few ounces more to stabilize the fuel? Sounds like Sea Foam is just a water adsorber rather that a true stabilizer to prevent the varnishes from settling out.
