Noise Kit TC45DA (Cab)

After getting a call from the dealer about a kit NH has to quiet the whine coming from the peddle's, I took her in to get it installed. Should get it back tomorrow. I'll post an update after seeing the outcome.

Anyone know about this? Didn't have time to ask the dealer any questions.

I'll bet you haven't heard any whine since you took it to the dealer.

That's an interesting mod. I suspect it is something to just dampen the vibration and reduce the transmission of whine into the cab. Changing to a different fluid could reduce the whine, but I suspect the kit will be related to acoustic damping. Very interesting. . .

Got it back today. The pedals are silent! This kit seems to have worked great! I wont know for sure till I run it for a while but it was very quiet while I tested it at the dealer while loading it back up.

Basically. . . They replaced the support arm of the pedals (part#87300017) with a new one that has a thick rubber dampener on it. So where before they had the support arm bolted directly to the trans/engine, it now has that dampener inbetween.

Seems like a simple fix. We'll see how she hold's up.

Sounds good. Nice to have a quiet cab. I have a broken window in my TN cab (thanks to an attempted break in) and it sure is noisy.

I also got a call from my dealer about this kit. They've had my tractor for 2 weeks now and the last I heard was they were waiting on parts. They said they put the kit on and were trying to adjust the "creep" so the tractor wouldn't drive when you let off the pedal but they couldn't get it to stop moving forward. I guess the called new holland to ask them about it and the new holl and rep said " there's problems with that kit". So the way I understand it they are waiting on a kit to fix the kit! I just hope the tractor works like it used to when I get it back and doesn't have any loss in performance.

I got my tractor back and all I can say is wow! I can't believe how well this noise kit works! There is no longer any trans noise while in the cab. I knew the kit would help some but I had no idea how much it would actually cut down the noise. If anyone else has one of these cab tractors I'd highly recommend having this kit installed.

No trans noise? Are you talking about the hydrostat whine? If so you've peaked my interest. I haven't heard from my dealer. I'll have to call my case dealer since I'm assuming the kit would be available on the DX45 as well.

Yes the hydrostatic whine is gone. Obviously there is still a fair amount of engine noise(when running at high rpm) that you hear in the cab but the noise the trans made when pushing the pedals is basically gone. It's much easier to hear the radio without having to turn it way up.
