Interesting that it has an inline 6-cyl Ford engine and plenty of horsepower. That does look like fun, but rather useless this far south.:( Does this mean we'll get some action shots this winter?:)

Looks like fun and looks like it will move some serious amounts of snow!

Not quite as stylish as one of these, but I don't think you would want to plow with it. If I remember, they were on the high side of 20 grand :D

I wish! SWMBO would skin me if this machine bumped her minivan from the garage :) Available on the local Craig's List for a mere 6200.00 for anyone with a more accommodating better half.

Wow, 5,815 lbs, ten and a half feet long and just over five feet wide. They are stout!

I once worked on the north west of Australia and we had one of these (without snow blade) for accessing our remote sites after cyclones. They are great fun, especially for chasing sheep! Ours had a Cortina 4 cylinder motor with seating for three on the only seat. The gearbox and brake (steering) levers were in the middle and it was not difficult to spin it around.

The attached is definitely not as stylish, but it sure makes the neighbors wonder. It is also a great leaf blower in the fall. We have a dozen big maples around the yard. Makes for a quick clean up!

The Isetta is cool!

We're pretty good at destroying sno-cats at work. Even though our office is based out of the same city where Tucker sno-cats are manufactured (Medford Oregon)we use the Bombardier ones that are similar to a dozer. The factory rep was giving lessons last winter on a frozen pond and they went through the ice into about 4' of water, which nearly destroyed the machine (water in the hydro unit). The only one I would consider buying used for personal use would be a Tucker, only because it is made in the U.S., and uses common parts for most of the drive-train. The Bombardier units we have are all hydrostatic, and have about a million things that could go wrong down the road. When we have broken them, it seems to take forever to get the parts, and since no equipment is lineman proof, we need parts.

COOL! Put some wings on it and you have a flying BMW Isetta :D:D

Several years ago when I went to pick it up I told my wife that I was going to buy a BMW.
She looked at me as if I'd lost my mind.
When I pulled into the farm and parked it by the barn.
She looked at me as if I'd lost my mind.
Hmmmm.....
At least I'm consistent.....

I kind of accidentally bought this on Craigslist a few months ago. It looks like great fun, but I have no practical use for it.

I'll probably run it around in the snow a few times and then let it go. It's in good shape, but the tracks are $1000 each to replace. That seems mildly insane to me. It has a 25hp OMC two cyl, two stroke motor. It runs good, but man does she smoke.....
