How does the Prowler stack up to the Teryx and Rhino? I've driven the Rhino and loved the power, and I've been eyeing the Teryx and Prowler too. I've always liked Arctic Cat's products, but I'm curious how you guys like the Prowler compared to the other two.

A couple years back I remember driving in a Prowler and you couldn't hear yourself think,.. not sure if they have quieted them down any.

I was considering one of the AC's but a buddy of mine was pulling one of those cheesy ATV disc and pulled the recievier completly out of the prowler.

after rideing my rhino for a while the ride was soft but i took the sway bar out the reaend today and man what a diference it's like a whole nuther utv now. they say it's just there for hauling stuff and i never plan on hauling anything so out it came and the way she rides it ain't goin back in.it now rides really smooth. as for as what utv to go with i would try the rhino i have heard of to many complaints from the others the 660 rhino's have problems but the 450/700's are pretty good and have no problems so far infact the 450 has just as much power as the 660 not as fast but it has just as much power if not more because of the gear ratio. and it has far less problems. so i would stick with the 450 or 700 rhino.

Nice. Is there a front sway bar too?

nope no front sway bar. last night i passed my buddies in the cane field . then i stopped by their house one has a 450 and the other has a 700 too like me. i showed them the diference the sway bar makes we took my rhino and rocked it side to side and we could not get the rear tires to leave the ground we then walked over to their rhinos and done the same thing and low and behold their rear tires lifted right off the ground. today i stopped by the same guys house and he was removing his sway bar.lol

In searching on this site, I find it interesting that there are over 200 threads mentioning the Rhino and just a handful on the Teryx, Big Red, Prowler, and RZR.

the tyrex is nice i looked them over in the showroom and i will hand it to kawasaki everything that rhino owners have been complaining about in the past years has been adressed with the tyrex but like with every new utv it needs to be out in the market for a few years to work out the bugs . and if you read up kawasaki has a crappy warranty on thiar atv/utv's so i would shy away from them for atleast another year although man i would love to buy one but i don't wany a can of worms that the manufacture don't want to fix if you know what i mean. now the razor it's nice bit it will have trouble hauling a iglo playmate cooler so to me it's out of the question so right now the best utv for pleasure and little work is the rhino . i would install the rear diferential suport too if you buy one just some added piece of mind. and if your gonna do some hauling get the heavy duty shocks. i don't haul anything with mine but don't get me wrone it has plenty of power to get up and go now if you put some 30" tires you ain't going any place trust me my buddy put some 30" mudlites on his 08, 660 and he can't even turn them when they get mud on them now whith no mud he can smoke them down but with mud on them it's a whole diferent thing. i'll upload a short video of him stuck in a hole that i and my buddy with a ranger go through in two wheel drive but he can'e even turn the tires . so right now the best utv going is a 700fi rhino and by all means if you ain't palnning on hauling a full 400lbs in the bed yank the rear sway bar you'll love the rhino even more.

as for as the big red i think it's gonna make a really bid intrance into the utv world that thing is nice.
