Arctic Cat Prowler Vs. Teryx Vs. Rhino?

In searching on this site, I find it interesting that there are over 200 threads mentioning the Rhino and just a handful on the Teryx, Big Red, Prowler, and RZR.

Can I ask why you are all of a sudden doing all this research on these UTV's when a few threads ago you were soooo excited about the Bad Boy MTV and could not wait to get then in your store?

I like to know everything about every machine out there if at all possible. Message boards are the best way to learn about machines. Plus I'm not so closed minded to believe that just one machine is where it's at.

Yeah, the Prowler 1000 has to be ballsy as anything. Even the 750FI Teryx has to be ballsy, but 1000cc has got to be huge. Interestingly enough, the 1000 is the only v-twin Prowler according to their web site. The Rhino and Big Red have single cylinder engines, but the Teryx has a v-twin. Interesting. The new Club Car XRT950 has a [500cc] v-twin too, though arguably, it's more in the class of the Deere and Kubota machines with its 25mph top speed.

Does the v-twin make a significant difference in power, or is it just a smoothness thing?

Bigger is not always better IMO, I know Kubotas own twin is smooth and quiet.

bigger may not always be better, but it is usually more fun.(bigger meaning more hp)anyway the manufacturers seem to think bigger sells better. they all seem to be in a hp race.

Its all about who has the bigger balls, looks at sleds,.. whats AC have now an 1100cc? Its crazy,.. the bigger, more HP,.. gets more expensive and things start to break.
