Why a backhoe is worth the money

/ Why a backhoe is worth the money #41
No other tractor implement puts a smile on my face in quite the same way that the backhoe does. So here it is:

Tractor: $15K
Backhoe: $7K
Diesel: $4/gal
Enjoyment: Priceless

im still paying for mine but it's worth every penny! i can't tell you how many stumps i've pulled or how many feet of ditching i've dug.. i can work anytime, day or night, and not have to worry about rushing to get something done because the truck is coming to pick it up. although if i start missing my payments, that truck might just show up!!

I have spent the last two weekends in Baytown Texas cleaning up my friend's yard. Yes.............yard. My backhoe worked wonders on removing and piling up hundreds of feet of chain link fence ruined by large fallen beech trees.

Wouldn't that have been fun doing it all by hand.?

LBrown59,
Now your trying to be funny.:) Actually it wouldn't as the fence was covered in poison ivy and sumac vines. Every tree also had large vines of these nuisance vines. I only touched them with a 11 foot stick...huh backhoe!:D I was also able to acquire a large cedar log from her neighbor's debris pile. The hard part was getting the leaning Beech tree removed that leaned over the house and was supported by a fork of another tree.
hugs, Brandi

Brandi,
After looking at that picture, I don't think you are going to fit that log into that car. If you do, post pictures.
