Cat 287B and ASV 100 track parts sharing....

I was just wondering if anyone can confirm if the ASV100 and Cat 287B share the identical track rollers, idlers, and track or not. I think they do but just want to be sure before I start ordering parts.

Thanks for the info. I have seen those wheels before and will give Jason a call. I'm really interested to see if the seals and axels on the idler and intermediate boggie wheels are all the same as the ASV. My fine Cat dealer refused to replace all the "faulty seals" (their words by the way) that started to leak while it was under warrantee and now the ones that didn't leak are of course leaking and need to be addressed over the winter. I just know that the parts from Cat will be more than anywhere else and I don't feel like giving Cat any more money.

If your looking for the black hard rubber seals, I think a Cat/ASV dealer is going to be your only source...that was my expereince on my 4810, but the RC 100's might be different...

I was told that "Cat's policy doesn't cover things that aren't broken...." yet they had the balls to tell me that the ones that were leaking were due to faulty seals, I guess the ones that weren't leaking just weren't faulty yet This is the reason I was wondering if the 287 is compatible with RC 100 undercarriage, I'd rather give an ASV dealer the business instead of Cat.

And get a whole new machine? With or without forestry package and a mulcher? They'll really love you then, at least until the check clears the bank
