I know the BL2666 provides for hydraulic deflector control. I really don't need it where I live, so I didn't opt for it. Does it solve the regen issue or something?

No, just makes life easier since you wouldn't need to get off the seat to place the snow where you want it.

Gotcha. I change the deflector angle maybe 2 or 3 times a season. We have either windy or really windy days on our property so I generally keep it angled down a bit

Thats a nice machine. You must either live north or south of syracuse because syracuse doesnt get that much snow.

I'm due west of Syracuse...building a house on my property which will have a 1/2 mile driveway that runs up hill
