After owning my 3215 HST almost two years now, I'm almost embaressed to admit I recently found it has a quick dump feature with the FEL. The diagrams are right there on the FEL. I always new that if you pushed the joystick control all the way forward you can get the bucket to float. But the other day I noticed the diagram showing that if you push your joystick farther to the right, you get a faster dump speed. The only note I have on this is that the diagram is misleading. I actually get the fast dump mode when I push the joystick slightly to the right. It slows if you push it farther to the right. Was wondering if this is the case with other 3215 owners?

I'll have to check mine this weekend, first that I've heard of this.

I just checked my 2815. seems to have a slow/fast/slow dump lever

While the bucket is loaded push the loader joystick all the way to the right untill it stops...
Then you will notice how the fast dump really works:eek:

Here's a photo of the quick dump label on the FEL.

My 2525 has the exact same diagram.

Can't seem to get it to work like Wallace suggested or as the label shows, pushing all the way to the right. It seems to operate like khamil says-slow,fast,slow as you push the joystick farther to the right.

I wonder if there is some sort of linkage adjustment. Mine also seems to stick sometimes on the dump and retract positions

It's like getting a new machine when you find new features isn't:D

The feature is actually called "regen" or "regenerative". You can read more about it HERE if you would like;)

The bucket needs to be loaded for the regen feature to work properly, Click the link I posted above.

As well as having the RPM's up a bit. If you are running it at idle it won't really work.

Still haven't been able to get the loader to work as the diagram suggests, even with a full bucket and higher rpms. Was wondering if any other 15 series owners have had a chance to test out their own machines? Thanks for any and all replies.

I have a 2625hst and I have pushed the lever all the way to the right and don't notice a difference in the dump speed with higher rpm's and a full load in the bucket. It's like the float, I feel it go farther, but nothing different happens on mine. The only problem I've ever had with my tractor is the loader valve because moisture got in there and it would freeze in the float position when I parked it. My float works fine now with wd40, but quick dump never has worked at all.

Checked mine again this weekend loaded and unloaded, fast and slow rpm. Dump action still works the same slow/fast/slow

They must use two different valves. My 08 2815 has the decal showing a fast dump position but there is no detent and the bucket does not fast dump. I stopped by the dealer and we checked several new tractors, found the fender mounted valves on 2815 and 3215's had the decal but did not have a detent or fast dump feature but the loader mounted valves on 2816's did have a dump detent like the float position. I think the 2816 valve had one or two more hoses than the fender mounts.

The all have regen in them. The valve on the 2815/2115/3316 does not have the "feel position" regen that the others have.

Well, I'm going to have to disagree with some of you with what some of you say.:confused: I got my 3215 recently, (one of the last 16 built I was told) and my fast dump does work, just not very fast. I would have to say that if you had a stop watch that measured in the 1000ths of seconds that you might be able to time that it dumped faster.:D All kidding aside, I can tell that it dumped faster, but such a minor time savings that I have to wonder why even have it. :( Does anyone have a 2815 or 3215 that has the fast dump work how we all think that it is supposed to work, fast? Maybe mine needs to be broken in, it only has 3 hours on it. ;)

Yep, my 3215 TLB works the same way when the bucket is loaded: slow-fast-slow. It can be tricky finding the "sweet spot" on the fast dump.

I have a 2810 HST :) with the quick dump feature incorporated in the valve. Neither Slow nor fast speed seems to affect the dump speed. My loader itself has about 600 hours so its broke-in . The way I look at the issue, it's not how fast the machine runs, its how the operator works the machine. I have matched my tractor to bigger machines moving snow and whipped them bad! Bigger and faster features doesn't always mean better :). . .John

Ditto what othrs said. Mine is a 2615 HST. Also it is hard to get in the full right AKA "quick dump" position. Maybe from lack of use not sure. Not any faster really on mine either.
