DING, DING, DING!!!! Winner, Winner chicken Dinner!!!
Thanks to jhowell143, that was the problem. The 15 amp fuse was blown!!! I figured I start from easiest to hardest and the fuse was it.

I saw the exact same problem on a 2305. It was simply a blown fuse. I do not know where the fuses are on a 2210, but on the 2305 they are under the hood on the "passenger" side against the rear wall. The fuse is 15A, and after replacing it...everything is back to normal.

This post is an old one but a gold one. A google search for the same problem led me here which led me to replace the fuse as described by jhowell143. Problem fixed. Mice chewing on wiring is probably what lead to the fuse melt down.
