Will a DR PTO chipper work with the JD I-Match? thx
Also, what recommendations do you have for a chipper/shreader for a JD2520? I will use it to clean up small brush piles of soft woods. Can't afford hydro feed.

I just picked up a used DR PTO chipper and I'm pretty sure the spacing is Cat 0 (not home to measure right now). The units come with bushings to increase the pin size to cat 1 if necessary. Also, the frame on mine is enclosed around the top and bottom of the top link holes so you have to shorten the link, line it up, then lengthen it to get the pin in. Don't think it's very compatible with the i-Match.

I had to extend the pins on my to get it to work with my harbor freight quick hitch. The pins are welded on (vs. bolt on) so I slipped about 6 inches of pipe over them on each side. This has worked fine since there is very little stress on the pins - only the weight of the machine.
I used my Dr Chipper with my 4310 and I match, I think I had to add a piece of c channel for larger pins if I remember right, also I needed a longer pto shaft . Dr sent me one free of charge. I used a lot the first 2 years , then found it easier to burn. I have since replaced my 4310 with a 110 tlb and have yet to use it . If you were close I would sell it at a deal for the space.
