The front stopped and the rear end didn't.

Story I heard was he was traveling down the road at a good clip and the bucket got a wee bit too low.

Looks like he was going faster than his FEL and rolled up over it.

Probably the only person who wisheD (past tense) his tractor had an airbag. Other than the windshield, the glass is very durable.

At the time of the accident, there was a huge, fully laiden trailer attached to the back of the tractor. The photo you have was taken after they unhitched the trailer. There are more photos of this accident while the trailer was attached.
Story I heard was the guy was ridin with his young son in the cab. Driving at speed with a heavily loaded trailer behind. The son accidentally pushed the fel control forward causing the fel to dig in. Carnage ensued.

Ouch. No one was seriously hurt afaik.

If it was in Europe, I think a lot of the tractors over there have much higher road gears than what we have here in the US. I think they can go pretty fast.

I believe this was the result of a head on collision with another tractor....
