Scotty, I could save a lot more if I wasn't either so dumb or so unlucky. Last week, the cheapest gas I saw around here was $1.789, so day before yesterday, I was at the Lewisville Sam's Club and it was $1.769 so I filled up the little Ranger. With my usual luck, yesterday I was at the Hickory Creek Walmart and their sign said $1.669 but I didn't need gas. So this morning, I start to Denton and notice the Quick Trip was $1.669, so I filled the Windstar, then went on to the Denton Walmart and their sign said $1.589. Every time I buy gas, I got a mile or two down the road and see it cheaper.

They are also building one in Augusta, ME, less than a mile from my office. Don't know when it will open, but it's going up fast. They even have the parking lot paved and painted - as if people in Maine actually park their cars in between those silly lines.

That means within ~ 5 minutes of where I work, I will have both a TSC and a great machine shop, which means that it should take me a lot less time to fix/replace stuff after I break it.

Well I was just watching Charlie Gibson on NBC nightly news, and he mentioned that there was a spot just outside of Dallas that was selling regular for $1.35 ! Guess it really does pay to live in the Lonestar state !
