I understand the saleperson mentality and that is why I have not hired one yet.
I don't want to follow around cleaning up a mees that a saleperson left behind.
Sometimes I feel my mechanics make a better salesperson better than most of the seasoned salespeople out there, at least they no how the machines operate.
I think to many people hire bankers as there sales people, you know the ones that just know how to flip numbers to make it look like your are getting the deal of your life time!
In fact you didn't even get the tractor you needed.

Rick, I hope I never forget the first true professional tractor salesman I ever dealt with. Almost turned me off when he would not talk price until he found what this newbie wanted to use it for. He ask questions and then told me polity why my concept was wrong or right. When I needed another tractor first person I called was him. He had changed dealership. So next call was to that dealership. Oh well he had gone to wrong color, sad, very sad, thought more of him that. Later talked with an owner of that color dealership. What a case. Told him what I wanted and he just stuck his stomach out and said that is what you want. It was a used tractor with rear tires all cut up. Ask on a new one, nope that one right there is what you need.

I've got a Daedong mated to a Daedong (???), does that count??
I've also got a Cummins ISL mated to an Allison 6 Speed.
The best of both worlds:)

It is amazing how much misinformation there is out there. A good dealer is worth SO VERY MUCH. I hate liars and scoundrel salespersons.

I am sure the guy will learn his lesson. Imagine, a Bobcat with a Kubota engine and a Dodge turbocharger!

the difference between saleman and friend is the simple word "truth"----the difference between good dealer and bad dealer "Fair Profit"----the difference between customer and thief is pay what it is worth not how much you can beat down the dealer!!!!!:) New book same lesson----If you don't pay MSRP don't complain about service or part supply!:D:D
