Island,
I'm sorry to hear it will not be a good fit to your Kioti. You saw I had to do some alterations (and the swivel) to fit my Kama. In any case, I'm glad to read you thought it was a very good seat for the price....I sure did.

Yes, two thumbs up for the seat. I was very disappointed to find it just didn't fit on my relatively small platform.

I should add a point of clarification. The seat itself is a normal size. The frame for the seat is a sort of L shape and extends behind the seat back a couple of inches. That was the difference in my case as my tractor has it's fuel tank right behind the operator's seat and even the factory seat rubs against it.

Thanks Builder,
I found the armrests to be Ok for me, especially while smoothing my 1/2 mile long road. Lucky for me they don't interfere with any levers or other functions.
The new seat is 10 times better than the stock one, so it was worth the fitting I had to go through.

Great build, I often wondered why the seat on a cut tractor didn't make a 1/4 or 1/8 turn for working with 3pt equipment.

Just installed a very similar seat on my JD. Might have to devise a pivot similar to yours 3rr. That is just plain slick!!!!!! I had to take 1/4" plate and match the factory holes on the tractor to the plate and bolt seat to that plate. The pivot would be nice when snowblowing. I must say tho, the up/down movement sure helped my back when harrowing the pastures.
Since this thread is over a yr old, how is the material and padding holding up so far 3?

Thanks for the question JJM,
The seat material and padding is holding up fine...no tears or wear on it. I'll bet I've put another 200 hours on it since the installation too. Plus, like a dummy, I often get in the seat with a pair of pliers or something sticking out of my back pocket. That can really cut the material life short. But this seat is very resilient and comfortable. It was truly a bargain. Note also for the last 6 months I've kept the tractor outside with no cover like the tent canopy I used to keep it in. It has a ROPS canopy but is still exposed to the weather. Heck, my barn is full of other crap already!!

Regarding the ability to pivot the seat a little bit right and left, it's really very comfortable, especially with the armrests. I should've done that right off the bat. Although the turn knob to lock it in place (as I made it) takes a little to do, it's not too bad. It's not like I switch back and forth from pivot to straight forward work. Plus, you can still do straight forward work even in the pivot mode if I don't feel like screwing it down into lock. Perhaps someday I'll change it over to a quick engage/disengage method?
It's obviously not on the high priority list though.:)
