BX 24 Snowblower

Hello,
I just put my snowblower back on my 24. Took off the bucket with no problem.
The problem now is I cannot lift the snowblower. With engine spped up the front piston will barely move. I can raise it if I use a 2x4 as a pry bar and lift it while I have the lever in the up position. It is almost like it is binding. It was stored indoors all summer and no fluid leaked out.
Any thoughts ?

I would first check the couplers by seeing if the ball inside moves and make sure they are on all the way and also check the fluid in the tractor.

Thanks... I checked the balls and then move... the connectors are on ..
I will check the fluid... althought I have never noticed any leaks...

Fluid level is up.... right in the middle.

I disconnected the top of the piston ( pulled out the pin) and it still will not travel.
I had the bucket on and was using it just fine earlier today.
Could the piston be binding somehow.... It was sitting extended and with white grease on the rod.

Check your 3 point hitch lever, next to your right hip. I believe if it's not in the mid position, it robs fluid from the other hydraulic devices, like your FEL, or whatever you have in its place...

Up until this summer, I never took the backhoe off, and never even took the 3PH out of the box. I never paid much attention to the 3PH lever, until I started having similar issues such as yours.

Are you sure you have your hoses orientated correctly? I have my Quickhitch on the top and bottommost hyrdaulic adapters and it seems every season I forget where they go as they only have yellow dirt caps.

+1 ... I do the same thing every year too. Thrower cylinder does some strange things if you don't hook up to the right connections
